Half Beef - Deposit

A half beef order requires a $200 deposit. The remaining balance, minus the deposit, will be calculated at $9/lb based on half of the hanging carcass weight. Organ meats, bones, and fat are NOT included with our half beef option but may be purchased separately. (These items are included with whole beef purchases.) Once the final carcass weight is confirmed, we will send you an invoice for the remaining balance.

To keep our prices fair while continuing to provide high-quality care for our cattle, we operate on very slim margins. Transaction and processing fees can quickly add up, so any fees associated with your chosen payment method will be added to your final invoice. We are also happy to accept payment by check.

As the buyer, you will provide your cut instructions directly to the processor. You are responsible for the processing fees and for picking up your beef from the processor. Your beef will be custom cut to your specifications, vacuum sealed, and frozen. Processing costs are estimated at $1.35 per pound based on hanging carcass weight and are paid directly to the processor.

Our cattle are processed at SOWEGA Meat Company, 1699 US Hwy 27 North, Colquitt, GA. This USDA-inspected facility is also Animal Welfare Approved. If no harvest dates appear when adding this item to your cart, please contact us by phone or text at 850-212-5816 or by email at bluebearfarmga@gmail.com to be added to our waiting list for the next available harvest.

IMPORTANT: If a delivery date is shown when adding this item to your cart, please note that this is our HARVEST date. Your beef will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after that date.
