Whole Beef - Deposit

A $200 deposit reserves your whole beef order for the scheduled harvest date and allows us to plan processing and fulfillment with confidence.

The remaining balance (less your deposit) is calculated at $8.00 per pound based on the final hanging weight provided by the processor. Once the final hanging weight is confirmed, we will send you an invoice for the remaining balance.

One of the benefits of purchasing a whole beef is that you may keep all of the organ meats, bones, and fat at no additional charge. If you would like these items, simply let the processor know when you provide your cut instructions.

Every Blue Bear Farm beef is raised from birth to finish on the forages in our pastures—never confined, never feedlot finished, and never treated with unnecessary chemicals. We are proud to be Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grassfed by A Greener World.

To keep our prices fair while continuing to provide exceptional care for our cattle, we operate on very slim margins. Because payment processors charge transaction fees, any fees associated with your chosen payment method will be added to your final invoice. Payment by check is preferred and incurs no processing fees. We believe in straightforward pricing with no hidden charges, so you'll always know exactly what you're paying for.

As the buyer, you will provide your cut instructions directly to the processor. Your beef will be custom cut to your specifications, vacuum sealed, frozen, and boxed for convenient pickup. Processing costs are currently estimated at $1.35 per pound based on the hanging weight and are paid directly to the processor when you pick up your beef. You are responsible for all processing fees and for picking up your order from the processor.

Our cattle are processed at SOWEGA Meat Company, 1699 US Hwy. 27 North, Colquitt, Georgia. This USDA-inspected facility is also Animal Welfare Approved, reflecting the same commitment to animal welfare that guides our farm. Once your order is ready, the processor will contact you to arrange pickup.

Important: If a delivery date appears when you add this item to your cart, please note that it is the scheduled harvest date, not the pickup date. Your beef will typically be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after harvest. While processing times can occasionally vary, we will keep you informed if there are any unexpected delays.
